A Grand Prize of 1 Lakh Rupees for Short Story Contest

Just found a website for a short story contest for Pakistani authors who write in English. The top 3 stories will get cash prizes:

1st place = 100,000 rupees
2nd place = 20,000 rupees
3rd place = 10,000 rupees

The 10 best stories selected by the judges will be published in an anthology (collection) of short stories from Pakistan by ZZ & Zohra Ahmed Foundation.

The deadline is June 30, 2009. If you’re an aspiring Pakistani author, get writing! Even if you don’t win a cash prize, your story could be chosen for publication.
